FAQ: How often does the group meet?
The Hennepin County Fire Chiefs meets regularly throughout the year
with 8 monthly meetings held during the day, and 4 quarterly meetings
held in the evening. Check the events calendar for the next meeting
time and location.
FAQ: Do I have to be a Chief to attend?
No you do not need to
be a Chief officer to attend. In fact it is encouraged that any
officer of the department attend. There are no limits to the number
who can attend each meeting
FAQ: What are the dues?
Currently dues are $100.00 annually per department and $10.00 annually for associate members
FAQ: What types of things are discussed at the meetings?
The
meetings follow a formal agenda and include committee reports for key
areas of emphasis such as Legislative, EMS, Radio Board etc. There is
a planned education topic for the meeting and most meetings do not
exceed 90 minutes.
FAQ: Are there opportunities to get involved?
There
are a number of ways to get involved including committees,
participation as a Board Member, active participation during meetings
including the Joint Operations meetings of the Hennepin Chiefs.
