HCFCA Web Site

We now have access to update the HCFIT link on the Hennepin County Fire Chief’s Web Site. The goal is to post, up-coming meetings, events and photographs of the fire scene and activities of the team members. More information forthcoming.

HCFIT Logo Clothing

Remembers, the HCFIT logo clothing including but not limited to t-shirts, sweatshirts, winter bibs, jacket, and baseball hats shall be only worn or displayed in a authorized call-outs, and/or training sessions. If you have any questions, please contact Ed Anderson.

HCFIT Trailer

The trailer is now located at Long Lake Fire Station #2. The access code for the entry door at the Long Lake Fire Station is the same as the access number when it was store at West Metro Fire Station #1.

Make sure that the post inspection form on the clipboard located in the trailer is filled-out and completed after each run.

Minnesota Fire Investigation Team Coalition (Cancelled)

The one day-seminar scheduled for Saturday, September 20, 2008 is cancelled. Refund checks will be sent out soon.

Safety, Safety, Safety

Please wear your PPE for any fire investigations, including but not limited to hard hats, safety glasses, respirators (full or half), gloves, reflector vest, and any other equipment deem necessary to complete the fire investigation in a safe manner. A minimum of two HCFIT fire investigators should be on site during fire investigations

Remember the HCFIT are part of the mutual aid response from the Hennepin County Fire Chiefs Association and all safety regulations falls onto the fire incident commander of that incident.

Every team member will need to have an ID and PAR cards, if you do not have one, please contact Kevin Fox.
